Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers "Photos Upload", a private tool used by
Clinton Brown to move his own family photographs and videos
into his own Google Photos account.
What it does
The tool reads photo and video files from a personal hard
drive and uploads them to the Google Photos library belonging
to the Google account that signs in. It also reads back a
list of the items it has uploaded, so it can work out which
files still need transferring and sort them into albums.
Who uses it
Only the owner of this project. It is not offered to the
public, is not distributed, and has no other users.
What it accesses
Google Photos content created by this application: file
names, capture dates, image dimensions, and media item
identifiers. It accesses this only for the Google account
that signs in, and only with that account's permission.
What it stores
A record of uploaded file names and item identifiers is kept
locally, on the owner's own computer, so the tool knows what
has already been transferred. Nothing is sent to any third
party. No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising. No
analytics or tracking of any kind is used.
What it never does
The tool does not delete anything from Google Photos. It does
not modify existing photos. It does not access any Google
data outside the Google Photos library and basic profile
information used to sign in.
Removing your data
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's
security settings, at myaccount.google.com, under third-party
access. Local records are removed by deleting the tool's
files from the computer.
